  1. It really, really depends on what you are trying to see.

Ottawa has some amazing museums and historic buidlings being the capital of the country (the Parilament, for example as well as many major federal government building are there.) As well, just across the river is the famed Gatineau Park. The Rideau Canal (i believe) just become a world historic landmark.

Toronto is very nice as well. SO much shopping and many, many places to visit - the CN Tower, The hockey Hall of Fame, Casa Loma, Wonderland and just 100 km away is gorgeous Niagara Falls.

For a more monutainous, forest view, it is best ot go out west. Travel to Alberta and see Banff and visit the Badlands (a famous dinosaur discovery sight). Or travel even further west, drive through the Rockies and you'll hit places like Vancouver and Victoria (right on the Pacific Ocean). It's very, very nice there. Victoria is just a two-hour ferry away from Vancouver. Vancouver is more young - shopping, clubs, but there are some nice museums and parks. Victoria is older, the streets, the buildings and the general feel.

I've never been out East myself but I hear the coast is gorgeous. Peggy's Cove, for example is a nice gem.

Or try Quebec (where the drinking age is 18). Montreal is nice and up-beat. Good shopping , Olympic Park, La Ronde Amusement Park, the Biodome, good clubs. Quebec City I hear it very very historic and beautiful.

  2. NIagara Falls!!

  3. Vancouver is the best has everything to offer

  4. Toronto, Ontario

    Edmonton, Alberta

    Montreal, Quebec

  5. Parolin's Camp, Loring, Ontario, Canada. <}:-})

  6. Anywhere in British Columbia, It's beautiful there.

  7. prince edward island

  8. This depends on a few things... Canada is such a big place but three of the main places to go are Toronto, Montreal  and Vancouver.

If you visit toronto there are a variety of things to do. If you like music Much Music (like MTV for Canada) you can go visit and even be part of the audience for their show MOD where they have contests, celebrity guests and show music videos. If you like amusement parks there is Canada's wonderland with many roller coasters and other rides. They also have operas, ballets and other plays. If you like hockey the hall of fame is also in toronto and wayne gretsky's restaurant.

If you go to Montreal you might like the look around McGill... the campus is beautiful. There is lots of shopping... even a really big underground mall! and a street called St. Catherine street... and you don't need to worry about the language because many people speak english in the city. It would also be worth it to take a day trip to Quebec city. It is very different... there is more of an emphasis on heritage but it is very beautiful. In the summer Montreal also holds there jazz festival outside. the water is beautiful and it is worth taking a walk around old montreal too.

Finally Vancouver in BC, although far from the other two cities is worth a visit. Vancouver has great shopping, museums and also nice beaches by the ocean. Whistler, the famous mountain is a great place to visit too. the village has many different shops and restaurants as well as clubs. If you like skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer it is certainly worth a visit. It is easy to get there from Vancouver using the bus or shuttle that comes often. In the city Granville island is also a great place to see. There is a market, many entertainers and different stores to see.

Other places you may consider are Calgary, another large city, Banff a nearby place rich with culture and activities. If you don't like big cities you may consider little places like charlottetown or any other cities in the maritimes. For something different northern canada has lots of culture and is very different. Niagra falls is a very famous place in Canada, but it is one of the most touristy places in the country too. hope this helps, and hope you enjoy your trip =D

  9. Montreal because the drinking age is 18.

    Cheers
