  1. SC - Myrtle Beach (29th), Pawley's Island (Pier), Charleston/Folly (Washout)

GA - Tybee Island (but only if you HAVE to.  There is not much surf in Georgia)

FL - Jax Beach, Daytona, Sebastian Inlet, Cocoa

  2. best spot- outer banks NC

  3. some of my favorite surf spots are on the ec of florida. Cocoa Beach, New Symurna, Sebastian Inlet. but my favorite out of all of those has to be Cocoa. it has so many shops, and for surfing theye got a pier that gets really nice. Ive figured out some of the awesome surfspots by asking the locals that are surfing or go into the Ron Jon surfshop ask some of the surfers that work there and they give you so much information. btw i suggest do not go to daytona! i hated goin up there. The surf was ok but towns kinda boring and dirty... good luck

  4. Georgia is one of the worst states on the east coast. Tybee island is surfable, sometimes, but the continental shelf screws up the swell in GA. North Florida has some great surf spots. In fact there's surf as far south as Juno and Jupiter beach, but its way better up north. Cocoa beach is a prime surf spot.

If you go up to SC, there are some good spots, but you will have to find them on your own (Nothing personal, but where I surf there is crowded enough already) Check surfline.com.

If you want to drive all the way up to NC, Wilmington & Wrightsville beach are great spots. Unfortunately, the Outer banks is about 7/8 hours drive from Savanah.
