Where are some good used car lots in Baton Rouge, Louisiana? ?

Question

this question is only for people who live in Louisiana in or around the Baton Rouge area.

I want to buy a nice used car

without paying a note.

I'm looking for a 1998 to a 2006 model with four doors

something in the price of 3,000 to 5,000 dollars

I need it to be a small car that runs well.

Nikki, it would be better to find the dealers through your local classifieds.  Make sure to check the Better Business Bureau to see if any complaints have been filed against the dealer you will patronize.  There are too many fly by night shady dealers and the last thing you want to do is pick someone who will rip you off.

Stick with the larger well known dealers in your area.

Craigslist http://batonrouge.craigslist.org/cta/ is another resource to check.  Just be sure to check that the title is clear and do not give your money until you know this.  Also do a buyer's inspection and Vehix report on the car to know it's history.  A lot of cars in Louisiana have been flooded and not been reported.
