  1. Dresden & Leipzig

  2. I am not a German or live in Germany but visit quite often. Germany has places as diverse as Hamburg, Berlin or Munich. But if I have just a few days I would love to spend it in a small town called Rothenburg-ob der-taubor.

  3. Any 'Guest House' (tavern).

  4. Interesting, a concentration camp that has been turned into a museum.  There are quite a few to choose from, depending on what part of Germany you are in.  They show so much and will have an impact on you forever.

    try this

  6. Any of the little villages. Halle is a pretty cool place in my opinion. Any of the bigger cities (I stay away from Frankfurt but that is because of an incident with a security guard there..) Munich and Berlin are probably some of the better ones. Again, this is all my opinion.

  7. from the time I lived there (1989-1992) EVERYWHERE in Germany is interesting. I know, not really helpful. Try The Schwartzwald, Rothenburg, Stuttgart, Minau, Munchen, Berlin, and Frankfurt or starters. Also, Dachau is not to be missed if you are interested in history and want to physically FEEL the mistakes of the past. Hope that helps a little.

  8. I may sound not so enthusiatic about Germany, but I really give a great exception to Hamburg!

  9. Try the 'Hamburger Dom'  it's a giant 'carnival' that comes and goes to different parts of Germany...it's REALLY fun!!! ^_^

  10. my home (including myself) in Berlin

    Berlin, Freiburg, Ulm, Heidelberg, Munich

    where are you going?

  11. Dresden and Saxon Switzerland are great
