Where are some nice/fun parks on the water in Tri-Cities, WA. ?

We are in the Tri-Cities (West Richland) for a week visiting family and would like to go to a nice clean park on the water that we can swim in. Any suggestions? Also, what other things are there to do in the Tri-Cities area? We have a car so we can drive any distance.
