Gonna be going to Jamaica soon so I would love to know. Never really bought anything in Jamaica except maybe a underwear that has a bug ( beetle ) in the front and in the back says " BUG OFF ". I think that's so cute and creative ! LOL Anyway I need help here so tell me of every store you know of and where it's located. Thank you !

  1. Kingston has so many places to shop. Too many for me to list, actually but just to name a few more spots that you can try:

Tropical, Village, and Mall Plazas located on Constant Spring Road : home to a lot of clothing stores, including Collectibles, (really nice stuff if you don't mind really NICE prices) Ammar's, and Lee's fifth Avenue like someone mentioned earlier. There's even a T-shirt shop (beside Ammar's) that sells some really nice T-shirts (but they also sell cheesy touristy shirts.) Go West is also located there but personally speaking Go West prices are ridiculous (Just because they sell Guess clothing-You can get something similar to what they are selling- same quality or even better- for half the price elsewhere.)

There's Seventh Avenue Plaza beside Village (you cant miss it ....It's by the stoplight and you have to past it to go to village plaza...which is right beside it....

Then there's Twin Gates plaza (After you pass Courts on that side of the road) home to Carby's (Now there are two Carby's: One that sells regular clothes and one that sells the touristy stuff. I recommend you having a look in the touristy one, cuz you might find something you like in there.)

Then there's The Spring's Plaza (KFC is located at the front there) More stores to shop. It's across the road from Tbropical plaza.

Then there's that other Plaza beside the Spring's that has Josephs... if you want cheap stuff (not that there is anything wrong with cheap stuff, as I have found in my experience that the major difference between the cheap stuff and the not-so-cheap is that the not-so-cheap has a brand stamped...er...attached to it)

Bear in mind that I have just named only a few places located on THAT vicinity of Constant Spring Road. There are also places to shop in New Kingston (good luck finding parking) and there's Boulevard Super Centre (I think that's the name) located in that area. And of course someone mentioned Soveriegn and Pavillion. Jewelry, shoes and even book stores are located in all those vicinities.

There are TONNS of places to shop in Kingston alone, let alone all of Jamaica. Best advice I can give is to get a girlfriend to drive you around. They'll know where to carry you. (Auntie, Girl cousin, etc...not Boyfriend, cuz they suck-no pun intended- in the shopping department).

  2. Try extras and artiques. That's where I go sometimes. They have pretty nice stuff. There are a couple other places in Manor Park and Constant Spring that you can check out.

  3. Go West in Kingston-Half Way Tree

Lee's in Kingston-tropical plaza on Constant Spring Rd.

(Lee's sell clothes and shoes, American brands)

If you need something to wear in an dire emergency......Tramps(Havendale, offa Red Hills rd)

  4. Portmore - Kingston has the best shopping centres.

Here are 2 of my favourites:

Pavillion Mall: 13 Constant Spring Road

    Sovereign Centre: Kingston 6

I don't really know anymore though since I hardly go to Kingston.

May Pen town is also good to go shopping.
