Charleston is a beautiful place to live. Myrtle Beach is also a good place to live but u have to deal with all the people going there on vacation.

Greenville is an excellent community in the upstate region.  It's not huge, but it is big enough to have cultural events and draw major performers for concerts, etc.

I was born and  raised in moncks corner.  It is  about 30 mile north of charleston.  It sits right on lake moultrie. You have the lake and the francis marion national forest so there is plenty to do.  It is in the largest county in south carolina <berkeley> also it still has small town qualities.  Only 40 miles from the beach. N o traffic jams 30 minutes from most jobs very low crime rate check it out.
