  1. Without a question The Kakadu! But heed the warnings about crocodiles. People really do get taken regularly!!!

  2. Also Litchfield National Park, love swimming in all the waterfalls.

You could check out Seven Spirit Bay resort. If you get yourself over there which is on the Coburg Peninsular then i would, lovely place in the middle of nowhere, back to nature in a 4+ star resort.

  3. It depends on how long you are staying for, and what you are interested in.  It has a lot of attractions.

www.travelnt.com.au has all the stuff to do on it, stay, eat, etc...

These where my standard places I took people too.

Crocodylus, where they farm crocodiles, have a small zoo, take tours, answer questions, and you get to hold a baby one too.

Aquasense, the fish come in at high tide and you can hand feed them bread.  I took my niece here and she loved it.

Berry Springs Wild life park.  This is an all day thing, but you get to see the NT's animals.

Litchfield, similar to Kakadu, but only an hour out of Darwin, has a lot of huge water falls, terminte mounts, and you can swim in the rock pools, in the dry season (watch for warining signs for crocs though).

Fannie Bay Goal.  Its the original jail in Darwin.

Sunset market at the Mindle Beach, good shopping and you get to see the sun set over the beach, lots of different foods to try.

Have a look at the website, I am sure that you will find plenty of things to do.

  4. Make sure you have a green pawpaw (papaya) salad made by Lily at Parap Markets Saturday morning. Also a Laksa served at the same stall. The best Laksa in Oz (much better than the muck they overcharge for here in Perth)
