  1. Hello,

this depends on what You are looking for.

If You are looking for arts, clothing, jewelry and cigars or vine, have a look around the Malecon in the center. Especially for clothing and art galleries visit the romantic zone, south to the center.

Also You could have a look to the fleemarket close to the Rio Cuale island, between the Center and the romantic zone, three blocks to the water. There You can bargain very well.

If You look for normal things, visit the supermarkets, like Walmart, Soriana, and Gigante.

Besides of that You also can visit one of the shoppingcenters. The best  are Plaza Caracol, 2 miles from the center and Plaza Marina 3 miles from the center. There You find hundreds of shops, each spezialized in other items.

To have an overview You could look here:

A special secret is the Pitillal area. It is typic mexican zone, You get there with a green bus within 10 minutes from the center. There are many shops around the place in the center, where You find everything and cheaper then anywhere else.

Hope this helps a little bit

    You are welcome

  2. I have lived in Vallarta for several years, but have just really gotten to discover the shops in Plaza Caracol.  Designer brands and knock-offs, shoes, jewelry gift items.  All kinds of pets and animals in one modern shop.  If you are looking for more traditional items, stalk the Malecon.  They'll come to you!  Bien venidos

  3. They have a lot of and every kind stores in puerto vallarta especially by the sea shore. Even  I saw diamond(jewelry) stores over there. I dont know how you can trust but they have .Have good shopping.

  4. The largest concentration for just about anything is along the whole length of the malecon. Rio Cuale Island is very nice to stroll and shop as there is no traffic there. To go a little more upscale, check out the Marina Malecon, between town and airport. And all the big resorts have their own boutiques. One guidebook I read a few years ago named P.V. "the place where you are most likely to max out your credit cards". Have a blast, I'll be back there in November, myself.
