Lots of places are safe, you just need to use common sense. I think most of Europe is nice. And I lived in Thailand and traveled a lot there alone. My friend also hit Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos alone.

Just make sure you choose a good hotel in a nice neighborhood,  and lock your things in the safe. Don't accept open drinks from anyone and don't get drunk far from your hotel alone. Always take a taxi rather than walk in the dark , and if possible rent a mobile phone at your destination.

You should be just fine.

I recommend Prague. Before living there, I had traveled there several times alone, joined tours and always had a blast and felt completely secure.
