Where are the California Grassfires/Wildfires coming from?

I live in California and the sky is partly hazy here. I'm convinced that it is from the Grass/Wildfires. I'm also convinced that they're coming from the West Central Sierra Nevada Areas. But Yahoo! News says it's from the fires in Wine Country. Can someone tell me where the fires are from?

well, I heard there is a fire in Napa. That's in Wine Country, and Fairfield, Yolo County, Tehama County and so on.

Lightning strikes in dry brush or trees. This time of year lightning often strikes several miles away from where it is raining during a thunderstorm especially in dry weather states like California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and West Texas.

Maybe your local news channel will show satellite or aerial photographs that show the smoke plumes direction?

It's mostly in Northern California. As of right now, there are a total of over 1,400 fires state wide that was reported. Majority of them are burning in the Sacramento region.  There was a fire in the north bay of the bay area last week. There is also the Big Sur fire burning in the Monterey county. Hopefully, these fires will be put out and the winds bring the smoke and haze out of the area. The kron 4 news say that the winds are coming at different directions.

Lightening strikes. I'm in the high desert of SoCal and I can see & smell the smoke. It's crazy.   It's not just the wine country, it's happening just east of Bakersfield north of Kennedy Meadows/Mt. Baldy.  That's the one turning my sun red.  Got ash for a couple of days from last summer's Santa Barbara fire.

Where I'm at, it's beyond haze. It's almost like fog.  There are several lightning strike fires in the Shasta Trinity Nat'l Forest, A big one in Humbolt County, Tehama County, etc.  This is a good place to look to find out more:
