What up the,

i was thinking similarly.  So far after every Olympic game there has been question after question putting Kobe down.  Kobe has a fantastic game in the "medal round" and these same haters are quiet.  i think it's the difference between being a hater and just being an objective fan.  Those who are Kobe fans recognize that he has shortcomings but we also recognize that he's the best player on the planet and wow- he played really well earlier today.  But it's more about TEAM USA than any individual 6 down, 2 to go!!  Go Team USA!

That's because Kobe was the game's leading scorer vs Australia. But let Kobe so much as miss a dunk on Friday, and the haters will let you know all about it. They want the U.S. Basbetball to lose just to go on a Kobe rant. The irony of Kobe hate is that living well is the best revenge, and Kobe has a better quality of life than anyone who post hate on forums like this. He may go ballistic when local sports columnists suggest he had a hand in the trading of Shaq or bristle when Charles Barkley says he quit on his team in game 7 of the 2006 playoffs vs the Suns, but I doubt he gives a rat's a@# when folks in his "rear view mirror" think.

Kobe had a good game.  I don't think there are many people that deny he is a very good player.  Just because a person doesn't have as high of an opinion of him as you, doesn't make them a hater.  

Congrats to Kobe and Team USA.  This will be the last chance he will have to celebrate a championship for quite some time.  Enjoy it.  LOL.
