Where are the Network settings on a PC?

Question

Hi, I cannot find Network Preferences on my Computer.

can anybody please explain where i could find them in order to change them. I have a windows xp computer (not apple mac)

any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Start=>control panel=>network settings

Go on to 'Start' you will see a tab called 'Control Panel' from there if you look carefully row by row you should come across 'Network settings'

When you click on the start button , then you will see a pop up on the left of your screen.

It should say MY NETWORK PLACES, if not go to

my computer and it will be there.

Go into Control Panel, and in there you should see network connections. From there you can modify any network connections on the computer.
