Where are the absolute cheapest air fares online?

What website has the CHEAPEST online? Im looking at sites like Expedia and those highly named companies are pricey!

I agree that bookingbuddy is a great site to sign up for their emails.  They hooked me to Airtran which I booked airline tickets from Indianapolis to Vegas for $150.  But I honestly believe that the cheapest airline tickets can be found by the airline themself.  So check out

southwest.com

airtran.com

jetblue.com

One source is not always cheapest all of the time and on all of the millions of possible route combinations on Earth.  It pays to shop around.  Start with http://www.bookingbuddy.com which will do a quick and very thorough search for you.  Many low-cost airlines, such as Allegiant, Southwest, and Ryanair, do not participate in outside booking sources, so if those apply to your route(s), you have to check them individually.

Try www.kayak.com. I use it all the time. It includes the prices of many travel sites + the airline's actual web sites.  I don't make any money from referring this site, or any money period from this site. Part of my job is to book the cheapest flights (domestic and intl) for my company (we're small so we don't use a corporate travel agency) and this is the most constant website I use.  Good luck and safe travels!
