  1. C&R is good, but my favourite is Mara House on Spring Street in Paddington, it is unsign-posted, in a basement, and has fantastic and cheap food. The owners are friendy too. Authentic, delicious food.

  2. London, England or London, Canada?

  3. I agree with londonca and timsdad, the one in Paddington has been there for many years, and the Rupert Court one is owned by a guy from Penang.

expect to pay around £10.00 to £15.00 each for basic meal

  4. The Satay House, in Sale Place, Paddington, is my favourite. It's been open as long as I can remember - 30 years, maybe? The food is tasty and fresh, and there always seem to be lots of Malaysian-looking diners in there enjoying their meals, which I take to be a good sign!

Melati in Soho is OK, again it's a bit of a Soho insitution, been there for ever. The food is reliable, if not particularly thrilling, and the prices good for the area. Hope this helps!

  5. TRY THESE PLACES:-

    C & R Cafe Restaurant

    3-4 Rupert Court,  Ã‚£10-12

    Jay Karet

    11 Greek Street

    Melati

    30-31 Peter Street, £25

    Malaysia Kopi Tiam

42-43 Dean Street, £20 this one is probably the best.
