  2. From Personal experience, the really best beaches are: Sa coma in Mallorca,

    Around Cabo de Trafalgar to La Barrosa near Chiclana,

    Tarifa,

    Coto de Donana

    Galicia,

    Near Santander

    The best built up beaches are in Mallorca, Puerto Polensa, Alcudia.

    San Sebastian,

    Sitges and the Costa Dorada.

    I have never been west of Sevilla.

    Beware of Blue flag beaches in the summer. They were tested in the winter when there are no tourists.

  6. I think the Costa del Sol beaches would be hard to beat, They are long and sandy and with the Mediterranean being tideless they are also very safe.
