planning a wknd in kilkenny city can anyone tell me the cheapest place to stay and the best night clubs...its a girls wknd.

John Street has good places like Langton's and Biddy Earlys.   At Langton's there are 5 seperate areas, with 3 bars, and there's a conservatory and a patio outside.  Matt the Miller's bar is on Parliament Street and is a popular spot. Coda is on Parliament Street and plays good music.  There is also the Venue in Kilkenny Ormonde hotel, off Ormonde st.
