  1. I would agree, Concert square and surrounding area gives you much more options + theres often special drinks promotions on so shouldnt cost you too much either. Have a good time x

  2. I would say around the Matthew st area

  3. No offence to that guy but Matthew street is rough. U want a good time go to the g*y bars =p if thats you thing, or this is concert square but thats a bit =s

  4. depends what you like, i think concert square that area is your best bet!! bit of everything there.

  5. I agree Mathhew Street has gone very down hill, Concert Square is better, abit more classy, full of bars. Why dont you try Chester? thats just as good.

  6. I've never found Mathew Street to be really rough when I've been out, in fact I've sometimes found Concert Square to be worse but do agree it's good for a clubbing night out.

On where to go it depends what kind of night out you like? Clubbing? Concert Square or the streets around it-Wood Street, Seel Street etc; Mathew Street or the g*y clubs on Victoria Street and Dale Street.  For cheap drinks try Hardman Street as lots of students drink there.  Something classy? the bars around the Albert dock.  Somewhere not too rowdy? Hope street.  Or if you just want a good drink in a nice pub you could try the numerous traditional, historic or just good pubs such as The Phil, Dr Duncan's, The Ship and Mitre, Rigby's, The Slaughterhouse etc etc.

Hope you have a good time anyway.
