  1. as far as the UK goes, the best spot for surfing is the internet.

  2. Newquay, Cornwall.

  3. definatey Cornwall, i live a while away but i go there in the summer and it is great definately worth the drive!!!!

  4. ah the cove! mon the orkney banter!

  5. the gower, swansea, wales !

  6. Cornwall. Aren't the World Surfing Championships held there?

  7. I agree with Pugsalee.  Without a doubt Llangennith Beach, Gower in Wales.  It is ideal for the beginner or experienced surfer alike, because it is always fully patrolled by Lifeguards.

Second best has got to be Perranporth in Cornwall.  It's beach is very long (over 3 miles), so it's possible to get away from the crowds,

  8. rhosneiger on angelsey in north wales is always crammed with surfers so i presume its pretty good,,,but i dont surf myself

  9. The best time for surfing in UK is autumn/fall - September onwards. . . .you get better surf.  A breeze from the S.W. along the Cornwall and Devon coasts does wonders for the surf quality and power.
