Well, it depends on how you define "best." Yonge Street is the world's longest street, located in Canada, stretching from the base of Lake Ontario in Toronto all the way up north to Lake Ontario. Highway 401 is North America's busiest highway, stretching from Windsor all the way to Montreal, passing through Toronto. The autobahns in Germany.  When you allow people to drive with NO speed limit (ie hundred's of kilometers per hour) you need good roads.
