the safest bars are probably the ones with as*s holes outside of them checking to see what you are wearing before they let you in.

Wish I could answer, didn,t get to go to any bars when I was there.  Went with the wrong company.  Have a lovely time.

I like the Tam O' Shanter, also known as the Great Scott on Los Feliz.    I don't go to any in the Hollywood Area.  It's just not the greatest these days.  Larchmont Village has a couple of good Pizza places, especially Village Pizza, and The Bodega.  Le Petit Greek is also nice for dinner.
