Question:

Where are the best waves in SOUTH Florida?

I've just moved to Coral Springs from up north and I was wondering if there were any beaches with nice waves in South Florida. I want to bodyboard but don't want to drive to Sebastien or Cocoa for that... So far I haven't found any beaches that are worth a d**n. Does anyone know of any good beaches south of West Palm that have waves? Thanks!

  1. There are no waves in south Florida. Unless you go down to Dodge Island and surf off the jetty when the cruise ships pull out. The Bahamas prevent any significant swell in SFL, unless there is a tropical storm behind them. You only have to go up as far of Jupiter or Juno Beach to find some ride able stuff, though. 2. Although now it's flat and shark infested, Reef Road probably has the best waves.
