Cans of maple syrup are available year-round at "citizen-price" at any supermarkets. You can find such supermarkets about everywhere except in downtown. Look at stores with banners like like Provigo, Metro, IGA, Intermarche, Maxi, Loblaws, SuperC and others.

I also recommand you buy "maple butter" if you find some, it's absolutely the best thing to spread on your toasts with a coffee! They are often available with maple syrop cans or in small bottles in the same area as fudges, peanut butter and nutella.
