Where are the feminist and why aren't you defending Sarah Palin?

Why is it that Hillary Clinton is allowed to "Have it all", but Mrs. Plain is not? Why do you question absolutely everything about Mrs. Palin but nothing about Barack Obama? Do you realize that Barack Hussein Obama's mother was an 18 year old unwed mother? That is ok, but not for Mrs. Palin's daughter? What is wrong with all of you who believe that it is great for women to have a career and family too? Why are you not defending her? You should be championing her as a great woman? Why aren't you?

Because they are their own worst enemy and that is why you'll never see a female president in this country and thats really sad because there are many women out there that would make great presidents. But they could also be the ones that drool all over Obama.

She's not qualified to be vice president; she said she doesn't know what a vice president does. So I don't want her to be vice president, much less president.

Edit: Sarah Palin said she didn't know what a Vice President did all day. Barack Obama clearly knows what a President does all day.

I also think you're off-base about abortion, but that's a separate issue and you're clouding the debate: Palin has done nothing to support feminist issues, she's done nothing to support women, and she doesn't have my support.

Because she is the exact opposite of a feminist.  She would put women back decades.  She is a hypocritical, vile woman and if she is elected into office, I will migrate to another country.  She would be a complete embarrassment to our country.  She has NO experience, she is exploiting her children for election purposes, she is under investigation for her mayoral actions.  She's an idiot who's using the "s*x card" here for her election.  Even her parents don't think she's qualified.

Sorry, you are WRONG.  I will NOT be voting for McCain/Palin.  I guess you don't care that she has blatenly lied and stretched the truth about MANY things she's done, forget about the "abuse of power" lawsuit she is currrently involved in.  She's using $95,000 in lawyer services for this lawsuit as well.  She voted down the "bridge to nowhere" (only after she had voted for it and had already received the MONEY!).  The state of Alaska received $400 million for that "bridge", they received $750 million of federal government dollars in the time she's been in office.  How is that okay?  It's more than 10 times the amount that other states receive!  It's tax dollars that I didn't choose go to the least populated state.

I enjoy seeing the people who indicate that they are not championing her cause because they don't agree with Palin's politics.  Therefore one must be "worthy" of support from the feminists by mouthing all the right opinions before you can get their support.

The result, of course, is that the only women who are supported by the feminists are liberals.  The result of that, of course, is that feminism is not for women, it is for LIBERAL women.  The attacks on Palin are exactly what the feminists claim create the glass ceiling.  No one is attacking her on her stance on abortion, they are attacking her about her choice to put her family in the spotlight, about the time it will take away from her family to be VP (and from her job to be a mother to Trig), about how we shouldn't vote for her because she "let" Bristol get pregnant, etc. etc.  Is there an issue hiding in that mess?

Let's face it, feminism is getting thoroughly gutted by the unreasonable, irrelevant and frankly wrong attacks on Palin while the "feminists" (liberals) gleefully throw more on the pile.  Winning has become the only thing to these people and principles are only useful if they lead to the win.

I've been wondering that too....I have even noticed that the media is saying Mrs. Palin chose life.....of course she did, she is conservative and has the strength to stand up and deal with life as it rolls around. We will examine the issues without your guidance and support the candidates we see as best for the job. Your desperation has disqualified you from rational discussion, and is itself an excellent reason for us not to consider her candidacy, if you are typical of her supporters.

Someone made a major tactical miscalculation when they assumed that women would monolithically vote for a candidate they would not support on the issues simply because of her gender. That someone should be held accountable for his bad judgment, and will be in November.
