If the cost of oil is based on a shortage on the supply side then why are we not seeing the gas lines of the 1970's?

  1. There is no shortage today and there wasn't one then.

Carter put fuel price caps on gasoline back then which created an artificial shortage.

That's just one reason he's considered by far the worst president in our history.

The truth is that we have an estimated 800 BILLION BARRELS of oil in this country and the democrats won't let us drill for it.  They say it's ok to drill in the areas that have no oil, but any place we find oil we can't drill for it.

Remember that when you go to vote.  Democrats like high prices and want you to suffer so you will vote for them to solve the problem, but they got voted in in 2006 for that very reason and the price has only gone up since they took over congress.

When will Americans wake up ?
