  1. I live on Cape Cod, in massachusetts.  It by far has the best surf conditions and gets the most swell year round.  although it can be cold, the summer time warms everything up and the water get to be around 60-65 degrees.  there can be long, sometimes monthlong flat periods during the middle part of the summer, but between that its a great place for families or people interested in surfing.  I would suggest the beaches that make up the National Seashore.  Places like Marconi, Coastguard, Nauset Light, and even farther up into Wellfleet are host to good surf all year long.  If you do come, please remember to be polite and wait your turn when surfing with locals.  we have to deal with alot of BS all year, and we always apreciate people not making things hard.

There are a few good surf shops, check out Nauset Sports for a surf report and all the stuff you need----

  2. I live in Hull and sometimes Nantasket beach is pretty good and for the most part, it's not that crowded.  It's just your standard beach break.  Check out wannasurf.com for other spots.
