To be blunt, anyone who tells you they know is lying.  Hotels used by celebrities are kept top secret by the terms of their contracts, if they tell, they lose business.

The contracts are always written to shell corporations or other names, so also please don't call the hotels and ask (and I've worked in Philly hotels where stars have stayed, people do call and ask, you are fired if you even hint you know).

Finally, in the event you DO somehow find the event, they are usually transported via loading dock and private elevator.  They do not go through the common hotel areas.
