  1. The sagrada familia church

    las ramblas

    Parc Guell

    Camp nou (Barcelona FC ground)

    Olympic Village

There is loads to see and if you are going I would recommend the open-top bus tour as you get to see everything. It works out about 26 euros for 2 days or 21 euros for a day and has commentary in 7 different languages. You can get on and off at about 30 stops

  2. All of Gaudis architecture...Sagrada Familia, Parc Güell, La Pedrera, Casa Batlló...

Las Ramblas, Passeig de Gracia, Plaça de Catalunya, Avinguda del Tibidabo, Plaça Sant Jaume with The palace of the Generalitat & The city hall building....(Ajuntament), all the Barri Góthic with the beautiful cathedral, Plaça Reial, Plaça del Pi, etc.

There are dozens of interesting buildings, museums and other things worth seeing...

The following website will give you more detailed information than we could give here:

Enjoy your visit, Barcelona is one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in Europe!

  3. I think that the most famous place in Barcelona is the "Sagrada Familia" (symbol of Barcelona) and the avenue "Paseo de Gracia" full of catalan modernist buildings.

The Agbar Tower is very famous too.

EDIT: Ok, Sue, you're right that people don't visit Agbar Tower, it's just very recognizable as one of the most famous buildings of the Barcelona's skyline, but it's true that it's not visited. Thanks

  4. Do people actually GO to Agbar tower?  or just recognize it because it stands out so vividly?

What Salva said, plus the Ramblas.  If you don't know anything else about Barcelona, you know about the Ramblas and Sagrada Familia.
