Where are the places that cannibis can be smoked in Amsterdam? Are hotels allowed?

Actually, they have a smoking ban in public places, but also in bars, hotels etc.

So don`t smoke it in the hotel  (unless they have a balcony).

In a coffeeshop is usually not a problem (unless you actually use tobacco as well - go figure).

If you are in a large park it is sometimes tolerated, but not many people like the smell. If you want to smoke it in the outdoors, go for a walk to a quiet area, and just sit down somewhere and relax.

Rule of thumb - if it is a place where a lot of people gather - it`s no smoking.

Maybe a nice idea to come and see Amsterdam for the beauty of the city and not the cannabis. Smoke your canabis at your own home in your own country.

ok, i live in holland.

heres how it is: you can only smoke cannabis in a coffee shop or at home, youre not allowed to smoke it on the streets but of course people do. you can buy cannabis in a coffee shop and in some bars. you are not allowed in hotels.

coffe shops are in rotterdam amsterdam and the hague and you can find them near downtown most of the time
