Where can I find the SEED in my sunflowers?

I have a huge bunch of Sunflowers that my husband brought to me from off the side of the road. I wanted to try and start my own wild sunflower garden.

thanks

  1. The seeds are, of course, in the center of the blossom but may not have matured yet.  If so you won't find any.

  2. They are in the center.  I think if you let the sunflowers dry,

you will see the seeds.  I suggest tying them together and hanging them upside down in a dry, dark area.  It's probably fine to enjoy them in a vase until they start to look a little "tired", then dry them.

    Good Luck!
