Where are the stripers in mid coast maine?

According to the American Heritage dictionary, a "striper" is

"A member of the armed forces, a cadet corps, or a commercial flight crew who

wears stripes designating rank or length of service"

Just curious why you're looking for men in uniform.

As in the great elusive striped bass?I have no idea.They migrate  north as the Gulf Stream warms up and the return south as it cools down

So the next thing you gotta do is find a newspaper on the Cape and get a fishing report for Woods Hole ,Hyannis and Provincetown

Then do the same thing for Portland ME  and see if you can find the elusive striped bass
