  1. Cornwall has beautiful beaches....it is like another country in certain areas...google it and see.


  2. Cornwall of course - we're 3/4 surrounded by them!

    Watergate Bay near Newquay is lush but my fave is the one just up the road - Whitsand Bay.  The ones in our village are a bit stony but Whitsand Bay as the name suggests is loads and loads of sand.

  4. portobello near edinburgh.....has a nice beach ...but on the left you have the seafield sewage works ,and on the right you have the cockenzie power station ....lovely

  13. the uk dont have beaches- just stony things that have the sea near them+ heaaps of rubbish because imcompetent people cant find bins to put it in!?!?!?! argh they make me mad!!

  16. The best beach, by public vote, is Bournemouth Beach. It also has the longest aggregate sunshine.

  17. NORTH DEVON - woolacombe, saunton sands, croyde and others.

  18. Cornwall and Devon, Watergate bay near Newquay, St ives, Bude,Perranporth and Woolacombe are some of my favorites, but these hundreds more to explore.

  19. The Northumberland Coast has some of the best beaches (clean & quiet), but they can get a bit nippy - and there aren't the big resorts/chav magnets like Southend, Weston Super Mare or Blackpool.
