  2. the arctic. but the cost of drilling it is too expensive, but if the cost of crude goes up anymore, it maybe cost effective.  But of course there are environmental restrictions as well as nation claims to it as Russian, US, Canada, and Greenland

  3. Oil : Deep offshore of most areas in the world (See the huge discovery in Brazil with Tupi) - Arctic, especially north of Russia but also Alaska with less reserves - Antartica : Totally untapped and probably huge oil reserves.

    Bituminous sands and oil shales : Brazil (again), Russia, Nigeria (totally untapped and huge belt of 250x100 km), Green River Basin in the USA by far the largest.

  4. Iraq?  Don't be stupid.  If you mean liquid oil, than yes, probably the artic... if you consider oil shale, it would easily be the western states and rocky mountain range.
