My question was answered with negative reponses about Dallas. I lived in Dallas about 4 years ago, off of Brockbank and Walnut Hill Lane. I heard that was a bad part of town but I never had any complaints. I know there are good parts of town in Dallas!!!! I heard jobs pay real good out there. Is that true? My boyfriend wants a warehouse job and I have alot of experience in customer service. Know any good companies that may be nationwide so we can work where we live now and transfer at the end of the year?

  1. Every freakin' trucking company has a depot in Dallas.

UPS, FEDEX, USF Bestway, etc. etc.

Brockbank and Walnut aren't bad parts of town. They aren't the nicest, but it's much nicer than living down on Marseilles, or on 8th. Better than Oak Cliff or the Grove! Rule of thumb in Dallas is north of the Trinity is better than south of the Trinity.

I don't know about jobs paying real good. The cost of living isn't very high, so some jobs don't pay a whole lot. The good, higher paying jobs have more competition.
