There were many reasons for the war in Iraq.  One of the less significant one was wmd's.  It was only suspected that there were weapons of mass destruction. The press just made it sound like it was the only reason we were there. If you would like to see another good reason, there is an exerpt from the Declaration of Independence that says we are supposed to retaliate against threats to the U.S. and replace any corrupted forms of government.

there isnt any , the president lied to everyone just because he wanted to get saddam out of power , and now everyone is focused in iraq wen the whole point of the war was afghanistan

If someone says they have weapons of mass destruction, you do something about it.  You don't sit at home and speculate...that's how we get planes flown into our own buildings.  Whether the weapons were there are not, is really irrelevant...the fact that they were threatening the US with weapons of mass destruction is reason enough to invade.
