Where are those little gold foil "Made In China" labels made?

And why are they always gold? Isn't that a more expensive color? Why aren't they white or red? Inquiring minds want to know the answer to this and other imponderables!

  5. I imagine they are made in China, and the Chinese see the colour gold as being "good fortune"

    With the amount of Chinese exports flooding the world markets they must be laughing all the way to the bank.
