Where are warterfront areas in MA??

Question

My boyfriend is finally sick of the city and is moving out to the suburbs with me. He wanted to move to NH but I go to school in Bedford so we want to stay near my school for now. As a compromise we are trying to atleast find a place on the water somewhere. But are there any waterfront areas near Bedford MA?

Lynn, MA is by the water and its about 40 min. away from Bedford.

Beverly, Peabody, Marblehead, Lynn, Salem, Revere - 35-40 minutes away

Rockport & Gloucester - about an hour away

If you choose not to go with waterfront you could try Acton, Concord, Lexington or Belmont which are all close to Bedford (Belmont being the farthest at 20 minutes away) and they are all very nice towns with good school systems. (Belmont and Acton have the best, however.)
