Where are we when it come to the environment? (i want answers of people who support all beliefs)?

what i wanna know is can we all admit that are planets intregrty is on a downword slide. i'm not tring to fouces on one problem or anything like i just wanna know what people think.

does the majority of people think everything is fine or do they think there is a problem?

While the data in the link below only applies to the US, I suspect that's it's a shared perspective in most developed countries. The fact that George Bush actually admitted that humans are causing climate change last year and is cobbling together measures to mitigate the damage (as opposed to completely denying global warming when he first came to power) is proof positive about how far we've come.

We are screwed.  Our goverment is all about the money and support for the exploitation of natural resourses around the globe.  This is the basis on which gov. officials are chosen;  and don't think elections make a difference because if a candidate does not go along with the master plan of the filthy rich he/she will not be on the ballot.  So much for your choices.  This is why the fishing party has the overwhelming majority of voters.  When election day comes, we go fishing.

There is no doubt that there is a serious problem. Some organizations need to possibly exaggerate in order to get people to care enough to send money to them. However, there is a real problem that is not imagined.

Who cares. Nothing will happen in OUR lifetime. Plus, you are very arrogant thinking after millions of years WE will destroy this planet. I drive a Hummer to work and leave it running all day to pollute the air.
