  1. I am originally from northern Virginia, just outside Washington, DC. In the US, in addition to VA, I've lived in Liverpool, NY (near Syracuse), Jessup, GA, and Panama City Beach, FL. My current home in the US is in Highlands Ranch, Colorado south of Denver. However, for the past 9 years, I've been living and working in Italy about an hour south of Verona. All the places I've lived have had different environments and things to see and do, but I would gladly live in any of them again.

  2. Miami, Florida. I love it over there. The beaches are great the women are better. There is  a part of Miami that fits everyones income and apparently you have lots of income. Check out coconut grove, the average income per person in coconut grove is $64,000 or 32,028.82 pounds per year. Everyone knows South Beach but don't go there unless you LOVE tourists

  3. Well, I was born and raised in California and I absolutely love it here!  I love the people and the gorgeous scenery (I can be at the beach, jump in the car, and two hours later be skiing in the mountains).  I think that people tend to be fairly open-minded and more relaxed here, but I may be biased ...  The one negative thing I can say about California is that it is REALLY expensive to live here.  The cost of living is just out of control and with gas prices rising it's expensive to travel here as well (there is very little cheap, reliable public transportation).

Other than my home-state, I've traveled a lot and I think that Buenos Aires is my favorite big city of all time (it totally beats out New York, London, Paris, Rome, Athens, L.A., San Francisco, etc.)  I also really loved Uruguay if you're looking for a quiet, out-of-the way place to live.  I love Costa Rica.  You absolutely cannot beat the type of nature you'll find there .. birds, trees, insects, flowers, etc. etc. etc.  It is amazing!

In Europe I think my favorite places were the small towns in Tuscany.  Wow, amazing scenery and really friendly people ... not to mention incredible food and wine.  If you want to step way out of the box, why not live on a Greek island for a while.  I'd avoid the more touristy ones like Mykonos and Santorini, but it would be incredible to live the island life for a while.  I'm sure it wouldn't be terribly expensive to live there and you could spend your days at the beach and get a job at a restaurant or taverna at night.

Geez, you've got me dreaming about all the places I'd like to live!  Best of luck to you!
