Where are you meant to carry chargers on flights to usa?

All electrical Equipment is supposed to go in hand luggage so ti can be checked so unless you want your checked bags delayed or blown -up  put it with your hand luggage.

Never put items like mobile phones or ipods in your check-in luggage, or any valuables for that matter if you want to see them again. The items you mentioned are perfectly acceptable for hand luggage, keep them with you.

I advise you to keep your charger in your carry-on with your cell phone..Place it in a zip lock bag so you will find it easily. Never separate your cell phone and charger. If you have to charge your phone once you land in the first stop in the USA you can. Now, there are places to recharge cell phones, ipods, lap tops, etc in the airport,
