  1. two hands at the steering wheel and when changing gears slow down then shift to whatever gear position it is then, back to the steering wheel

  2. ten and two, where they should be for safety reasons, and i think its comfortable that way

  3. Far away from the steering wheel

  4. ha ha ten and two but im just learning. My dad drives with his knees tho

  5. I hate starbucks.  I have both hands on the wheel unless I'm driving a stick shift.

  6. actually I've tried all positions yesterday while driving on the high way. mostly either ten and two, or four and eight.

  7. wouldn't you like to know

  8. it woukld be where i want it and depends on what im doing with a hand or not .............................not in a sick way

  9. Both hands throttling the annoying kids in the back seats.

  11. one hand is on the steering wheel and one is the clutch

  12. Depends on occasion but my fav.is right arm at 5 while the rest of right hand laid on my right leg

  13. On the steering wheel and no where else thats what it should be.There should be legislation against use of cell phones while driving and also drinking beverages.

  14. One hand on my gun and the other on top of my girls head as she gives me head. No hands on the steering wheel.

  15. haha

  16. Left hand at 12.

  17. Ten and two is no longer the preferred,  many experts suggest 3 and 9 is safer.    Me,  I keep both my hands snugly attached to my wrists,   it is better that way.

  18. One at six and other on girlfriend

  19. Great question and I wish more people would get off the phone and drive.  In case you haven't heard...The new safest way is now 9 and 3.  The texting thing the young people are doing is horrible.  I could go on for pages with the dumb and dangerous things I see daily.  They're almost as dangerous as drunk drivers in my opinion.  I drive semi's and can see down into the cars that pass me.  In rush hour traffic EVERYBODY is either on the phone or texting.

  20. Left hand at 10, right hand on stickshift or resting on leg.  I got in the habit after driving an actual stickshift for years, and now that I have an autostick but drive automatically anyway, I still just rest my hand there.  I do the 10 and 2 thing though if I feel insecure/unsafe, such as in heavy traffic or rain.

  21. one hand at 11

  22. One hand at 1 elbow resting on the window/ Door sill  Im Down under we are on the other side of the car

  23. left hand on wheel, right hand on shifter.

  24. in my nose.

  25. One hand at 8, one hand texting, switching back and forth between the CD player and the cell phone, the mirror popped down checking my make up.

  26. Mine are at 8 and 4. It's the way my steering wheel is made.

  27. on the stearing wheel

    on my lap

    or on my phone

    or on the radio

  28. on my beer(s).

  29. At ten and two - I think this position gives you the most control in terms of steering.

  30. Ten and two or ten and stick shift

  31. It depends on where I'm traveling. If I'm comfortable with the roads and I know where I'm going, I drive with one had at 6. If I am uncomfortable, I drive with my hands at 10 and 2.

    Please don't text and drive!
