  1. ha ha youll be lucky it might be very cold up in blue mountains

usually is but no snow, you will have to head down to the sking place down in Victoria for snow

  2. Ha ha!

    You are kidding right?

Try the resorts beyond Jindabyne (like one or two hours south of Canberra)

Besides not much snow at the moment - a friends daughter had her ski trip cancelled through lack of snow...

  3. I think you can get to the Snowy Mountains in about 5 or 6 hours if you take the right roads.

If it's really cold and the right conditions, you could see some snow in the Blue mountains a couple of hours from Sydney, but it's not enough snow to ski in - just light fall.

  4. the snowy mountains about 8 hours from Sydney

  5. Charlottes Pass in the Snowy Mountains is the highest point in the Snowy Mountains. If you really want snow, you could fly to Canberra, and drive (hire a car or find a bus?) the few hours to the Snowy in search of snow. Don't like your chances though. Although nothing ventured nothing gained!

  6. no snow IN sydney, only down south at perisher, or other ski resorts

  7. There is NO SNOW - generally,  ANYWHERE near Sydney - let alone expect to have it JUST FOR YOU - this Thursday.

On the ODD occasions, when it is really cold or a cold snap comes through, there might be some early morning snow up in the high places in the southern highlands region  BUT NOT in Sydney - but this happens once every several years. And it is usually over an hour drive away from Sydney. And the snow melts away by late morning anyway.

To see snow, you need to go to the snowy mountains - about 6 hours drive away from Sydney.

    Cheers
