OK... here are some questions....

About Brisbane....

1-is it good living here?

2- how's life? (nightlife, parks, people, weather....ok, it's kind of the same question than #1!)

3- are we far from the closest beaches? can we practice surf on these ones?

4- Can u give some names of good surbubs to live in and names of surbubs to avoid...

About the GC area.

answer the same questions!

If you (would have to) live between Brisbane and the Gold Coast where (would/do) you live? why? can you tell me in minutes how long it takes to drive from this surbub to Brissie CBD/ Surfers Paradise/the closest beach.....

thks a lot for your help. x*x

  1. Ok:

1 Its great living in Brissy, the public transport and traffic can be very annoying, but other than that, its great.

    2. Lifes great, plenty to do, nice people, the weather is usually good.

    3. The closest beaches are the ones on the gold and sunshine coast, they are not that far, just about an hour away at the most. Yes you sure can, they are great for surfing, for beginners and experts alike.

    4. Don't go anywhere near Inala, or any of those other dodgy inner suburbs. Some of the nice ones are places like Chermside, Sandgate, Northgate, Clayfield, Bald Hills, etc.

    Gold coast?

    1. Its AMAZING.

    2. Fantastic, so much to do, so much to see, the weather is usually warm and sunny, though it does get wet and windy...and its just no fun at all.

    3. Well, you are basically on the beach lol.

    4. Hmmmm...Robina, Nerang, Ashmore maybe, but remember, its a very expensive place to live, and the closer you get to the beach areas, the higher the prices!

No probs mate hope I helped.

  2. Weather is great very mild at the moment a chance of rain we need it. Suburbs between GC and Brisbane are nothing wonderful. Always hotter away from the sea breeze. Coomera is ok 40 minutes drive if you got a good run  lots of new housing estates. Helensvale is better big shopping centre train staion to Brisbane 1 hour by train and next to Brisbane motorway .In peak times the trip to Brisbane can be slow the traffic gets conjested helensvale is about 20 minutes drive to Surfers . The people are a mixed bunch . Various nationalites. some very friendly lot's of lovely people some not as nice. First surf beaches are from about Main beach all the way to the Tweed Main beach is not far just slightly closer North to Surfers.
