I'm not sure about the Best value for your dollar, but I would suggest New Zealand as being of good value.

  Not only is it a beautiful country  to visit, lovely scenery, friendly people and mild climate, at the moment the exchange rate of the dollar is good.  For every Canadian dollar you will get just over $1.30 N.Z.  Try checking out some of the tourist websites.
