The Apple iPhone is NOT AVAILABLE in Canada. It is a GSM phone and the only network that could support it is Rogers Wireless. However, Rogers and Apple haven't been able to reach an agreement that would allow reasonably-priced data service. Thus it is not available.  See the link for more info.

If you get an unlocked phone, you could use it with Rogers. However, most of the cool data services wouldn't work. Any data access will be very expensive. Also, with the last iTunes update, Apple disabled most unlocked iPhones; more of this can be expected in the future.

This is just outside Toronto, in Markham. It's called the Pacific Mall and it is located at Steeles and Kennedy Road on the northwest corner. There are about 4 to 6 small stores that sell the 8 gig iphone. And as of Sept. 28 the prices ranged from $800.00 to $699.00. There is also a couple place to have them unlocked, if phone is not already unlocked.

Try Futureshop or Rogers store... you could even find some unlocked Iphones for 600$ in downtown area shops... just go there and ask !
