Where can I....(NEED HELP!!!)?

1.I need something that is free, and down-loadable that records audio.

2.I need something that is also free and downloadable that can like make still images of certain videos. Ya know, say you pause at 0:05 of a certain video and someone makes a funny face that you wanna keep, yeah. I've seen a lot of people with something that can do that.

Anyone that can help please do. NO CHEAT ANSWERS!

Go to  http://www.opensuse.org

Download SuSE Linux 10.3 or 11.0

Install it.

Now go back to opensuse.org and look for

KDE user interface based recording  s/w

and Image editing s/w.

It's all free.............

If you're addicted to MS$ goto Google.

Look for Picasa image s/w and see what's there.

If you have Windows you already have BOTH of these.

1. If you are talking about recording your voice, and you have a microphone, then you need "sound"

Right click on the desktop and hit "New Wave Sound"

on this new thing, right click and hit "Record"

Then you can record your voice

2. You probably already have Windows Movie Maker

all you have to do is open it- then download your movies/ home videos into it.

then you can stop, edit, and create pictures of every frame!

it should be in your Start Menu
