Where can I advertise my free puppies?

I want to give away 11 puppies born June 05, 2008

(when they get old enough). I was wondering if anyone knew of any good sites that I could do this at...

If you want a free venue than you could try the pets section of you local craigslist site ... www.craigslist.com. If you don't mind paying a bit than you might just try the paper.

Depends on where you are from but if you are in a bigger city craigslist.org is great and kijiji.com if you live in a smaller city this isnt much help but most citys have a free barter/trade wanted forsale papers as well as you can place ads in your local newspaper. and the humane society may let you post pictures and coments there to someone already looking for an animal. hope this helps--MB--Georgia

Not to sound like a harbinger of doom or anything but if you really care about animals, then dont give them away for free.  

This might sound icky but this does happen.  Sorry to say this, but there are sleazy and cruel people in the world who can do bad things to animals.  There are a lot of creeps out there and they are the ones who "look" for free dogs or cats.  Selling to puppy mills, labs, dogfighting circuits, etc.  It happens and dont think it doesnt.  

I understand that you just want to put the pups in a good home.  I also understand that you dont want to profit from selling the puppies.   Instead, advertise that you want interested people to be prepared to give you a check (or proof of a cash donation) for $x*x paid to the order of your local Humane Society, ASPCA, or similar.   That way you know the people are good.
