I've already tried many super markets and health stores such as GNC and Nutrition House. I can only find Canada #1 syrups but not the #2 kind.

  1. I am a former chef and funny enough they do not make a No.2 grade here, in the U.S they label/grade it dependant on the quality of the syrup here we do not add or take away from ours, you will find amber, light or dark and no in betweens. Our's is label or graded on colour not quality.

They even have Grade C in the U.S which is like olive pumice oil, they add a sugar syrup to the boiled down product and make what were would consider pancake syrup, it is used in commercial product like sauces and candies for a flavour element. I have used the real thing for year, when here in Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotian, all basically the same.

  2. There's a craft fair in The Beaches, an east-end neighbourhood, and there's a guy who sells tons of different types of maple syrup and assorted goodies like those maple sugar fudge candies. The fair is in Kew Beach park, at Queen and Lee. look it up on google maps if you're not sure where that is.

and i think the fair is june 14-15, but you can probably verify that somewhere else on the beloved internets.

    hope i helped.

  3. You can buy it from Amazon, cheaper than anywhere alse:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?i...

    Hope that can help you/.
