Where can I buy GPS vehicle tracking devices?

Iv been searching online but there all so very expensive! Do you know of any good websites? I want to keep an eye on my daughter I know shes up to something (nogood) and Im very worried about her. I want to know where she is at all times only I don't want her to suspect anything. Any suggestions?

There is no such device as a GOOD and Cheap GPS tracking device, the cheap ones are normally no good and the good ones are not normally cheap and the cheap one seldom function the way you wish it to. Some device will track every 5-10 minutes or once or twice a day, that is useless if you wish to view where your daughter have been but the price will be much less if you are not tracking your daughter less say every 2 minutes which is more inline with what most tracking device should be capable off.

With that said, you need to determine if you wish to track your daughter in real time on the computer or if you are o.k with a tracking device that you can retrieve where the vehicle has been for the day?

There is normally a subscription service that you have to agree to with the real time tracking system much like a phone service since they utilize GPRS and SMS, the tracking system that records does not have a monthly subscription fee BUT if you are looking for your daughter when she does not return home, it does you no good since the tracking device is with her car.

I would recommend for you to consider renting a GPS tracking device first without committing to a long service contract, you pay by the days you rent the unit and you can see if this tracking device is working for you the way you wish it to.

I know of two options for you. There is a company called Trackstick.  They have a few options that are relatively inexpensive.  The only issue with them is that you have to wait for the car to get back in order to get the unit off and then download the data.  You can also use a product from Skypatrol that gives you real time data via the internet.  It does require a monthly fee, but it is pretty inexpensive for the service.  Good luck.
