Where can I buy Katsushika Hokusai's original art?

I've looked on Ebay and Google and can't seem to find a website where I can buy his authentic, original art. Everything is just a reproduction.

Does anyone know of a place to buy the real thing?

There are a few galleries that deal in Hokusai original prints. Here are 2 of them. Hokusai is very well known and his original prints command high prices, which is probably why you couldn't find his work on ebay.

Hi!  Your best bet is public auction.  You should

contact some of the auction houses that are linked

below (or at least start to track sales) and let them

know of your interest. They know well in advance

when a collection will come on the market or if an

institution is divesting holdings. They will be more

than happy to keep you apprised :)
